Meyer Motorsports is a Professional Road Racing team.

We race sports cars like the Mazda RX8 pictured above. 2008 will be our first season in the Pro Ranks running in the premier Professional Road Racing venue of the Grand American Series commonly known as “Grand Am”. The team owner is Eric Meyer who also drives the # 30 Koni Challenge black Mazda RX8.

After two successful seasons in the very competitive amateur Spec Miata series, weve decided to take the plunge and go to the next level--the Grand Am / Koni Challenge Series. What was once a small, well-funded group of Spec Miata racing effort has transformed into a racing business of a 4 person full time staff, along with dozens of volunteers and friends.

In addition to racing all over the U.S., we have professional race car fabrication and building capabilities out of our Indianapolis shop. These are led by NASCAR Craftsman truck fabricator Seth Weingartz and supported by local mechanics and racers and Eric Arms (who can do just about anything). Terry Rosenkoetter runs the shop and you can contact him at: [email protected] We build our own cars and have the capabilities to build cars for you in between our busy racing schedule.

Our hand picked crew consists of what I think are some of the best guys in the biz. Their experience derives from Import Tuning, Drag Racing fabrication, Rolex Series fabrication, extensive NASCAR Craftsman truck series fab, Formula and Star Mazda open wheel teams and good old fashioned Spec Miata and Club racing. Lots of Mazda experience.
