High Value Added Arrive and Drive
Video Analysis.
All our cars are equipped with the high resolution Chase Cam and GoPro brand systems. Detailed video review combined with overlays and data acq. allow you to observe your actual driving behavior. Are you driving in too deep and getting back on the throttle too late to obtain a fast exit speed? Is your cornering speed slower than other drivers? How is your consistency? You can’t fix what you don’t measure. Video and data is used in F1, Grand-Am, IndyCar and by all the top racing teams. You will lower your lap times and finish higher using these proven methods. All our customers receive copies of video data. Motec users receive i2Pro data with video overlap. Typically video is used so the driver can “see” his/her tendencies so that behavior can be reprogrammed. It is not uncommon to change an engrained habit and quickly obtain .5 second per lap during the first day of video and data review.

Data Acquisition
What is it that all the top Pro road racing teams have in common? Data acquisition. Find valuable half tenths and tenths of a second per corner which add up to seconds over a lap. This leads to laps over hours. Attend a Grand-Am, Speed World Challenge, IndyCar or any high level racing organization and you’ll find data acquisition. You’ll discover exactly what you’re doing so you can learn to change and drive faster and safer. Using throttle position, brake and steering sensors are the key to going faster. Our cars use powerful Motec, as well as AIM and Traqmate data loggers. Data acquisition will help you discover how to go faster iand s a standard service we offer to our clients. Start your journey to the front by tapping into the power of data acq. Once you understand just how powerful data is, you’ll never stop using it.
Chassis Setup
The art of chassis tuning propels you to the front. A car that is easy to drive is easy to drive fast. Meyer Motorsports prides itself on our ability to accurately tune suspension at the track to extract the greatest potential from our cars. Many teams don’t or won’t do this. Scales, corner weight adjustments, toe, swaybar and spring changes AT THE TRACK are the ingredients to finishing up front.
Those that do know this. Those that don’t----don’t.
We use the hard data of tire temps and pressures combined with exit speeds, lateral g’s and lap times and then finally factor in driver’s input to make changes to our car’s suspension to go faster. Historic data saved from past track visits allows us to arrive with a car that is “pretty close” right out of the trailer. From there you can expect the car to go on the scales until it’s “surgical” as we like to call it.
Professional Approach, Professional Equipment
The Meyer Motorsports transporter carries with it a slew of racing equipment, spares and backup tools to handle the “unscheduled events” that sometimes occur. Our objective is to quickly tackle these unplanned events and and return to the track safely. Typical support resources include our Grand-Am fuel rig, numerous cosmetic crash parts, fresh spare engines and transmissions, numerous wheels with fresh sticker tires, oil coolers, radiators, and a myriad of consumables. Our relationship with Hawk Performance gives us access to Jay Andrew, our brake engineer which allows you to maximize the car’s braking function. We minimize the need for unscheduled service at the track by investing lots of quality time during the car building process
Our 78’ Renegade hauler makes for a great escape during inclement weather or after a long driving stint. Our rig is your rig.
